Food Companies Looking at Pea Flour to Make Breakfast Cereals & Instant Noodles More Nutritious

Food and ingredient companies like Nestle, General Mills and Cargill are looking to pulses to make their products more nutritious.

With funding from Pulse Canada and the federal government, the Canadian International Grains Institute is working with the companies mentioned above to find ways to add pulses to breakfast cereals, instant noodles, extruded snacks, and other foods that we don’t usually think of as overly healthy.
