As we watch winter melt away into spring, we think of the seeds that growers will soon be putting in the ground, with the promise of a bountiful harvest in the fall.

SPG has collaborated with a number of associations to provide important feedback on behalf of growers and the agriculture industry to Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada’s (AAFC) Sustainable Agriculture Strategy Consultation.
The University of Saskatchewan (USask) launched the University of Saskatchewan Insect Research Facility (USIRF), the first insect research facility with quarantine capabilities in a Western Canadian university.
Saskatchewan Pulse Growers (SPG) invested over $1.3 million into pulse research projects, through the Pulse Science Cluster from 2018 to 2023, that addressed multiple priorities.
The Canadian Tri-Society meeting of the Canadian Phytopathological Society (CPS), the Canadian Society of Agronomy (CSA) and Canadian Society for Horticultural Science (CSHS) will be held on June 17th to 21st 2023 at the Delta hotel, Ottawa, ON.
