2022 Crop Diagnostic School

The Crop Diagnostic School will be a one-day, hands-on learning opportunity to examine plants, dig in the soil, pull weeds, identify insects and hone your diagnostic skills. This year there will be one location with a choice of two dates. Each day will offer the same exercises and demonstrations.

When: Tuesday, July 26 or Wednesday, July 27, 2022 (registration is for one day only) 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Registration begins at 8 a.m.)
Cost: $100 per person (includes lunch)
Location: Swift Current, Sask. Off-farm site of Wheatland Conservation Area. From #4 highway head 2 miles east on airport road, then 1/4 mile south at a field approach. There will be signs for the school so no one misses the entrance, and someone will coordinate parking upon arrival.
The event will be hosted by Wheatland Conservation Area (WCA). While sweep nets will not be pre-sold at the event this year, you can purchase one directly from Pro Metal in Regina. Attendees should come prepared for weather (bring rain gear, rubber boots, sunscreen, hat, etc.) as the event will happen rain or shine. To reduce the spread of clubroot, we will have boot covers available. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are pending for Certified Crop Advisers.

Cancellation Policy: There will be no refunds if registrants do not show up on the day due to weather. Friday, July 15, 2022 will be the last day to cancel registration and receive a full refund (minus a $25 admin fee) and Thursday, July 21, 2022 will the last day to cancel and receive a 50 per cent refund (minus $25 admin fee).
Refunds will not be given after July 21, 2022.
