The Irrigation Crop Diversification Centre invites you to attend the CSIDC Field Day on July 12 in Outlook, SK.
With a theme of Adapting to a Variable Climate this field day will include a trade show and field tours that cover:
- Cereal agronomy; canola and wheat fertigation; clubroot overview; soybean protein study; potato rotation study; pesticide rinsate biobed
- Variable rate irrigation (VRI); remote soil moisture sensing technology; solid seeded vs wide row dry bean production; evaluating hemp varieties for irrigation production; control of RR canola in RR soybean; canola seed size and seeding rate Horticulture
- Drip vs pivot irrigation on vegetable crops; garlic and baby carrot variety trials; biosecurity issues in brassicas: clubroot; vegetative growth cessation of raspberries and saskatoons; haskap photoselective netting; horseradish; Plant Gene Resources of Canada
