The SPG Pulse Variety Showcase, hosted in conjunction with Petruic Seed Company, will provide the opportunity for growers to evaluate field-scale performance of top new varieties of small red lentil, yellow pea, and green pea versus leading established varieties within each market classes of pulses. This event will be held in conjunction with the Petruic Seed Company annual field tour. There will be opportunity to tour the pulse Regional Variety Trials (RVT) at this site and view up-and-coming pea, chickpea, and lentil varieties in a standardized small plot setting. There will also be the opportunity of attendees to tour the SVPG Provincial varietal trials, the Petruic Seed Company cereal demonstration trials, durum side-by-side trials, and micronutrient trials on site.

BBQ Supper to follow at 5:00pm at the Petruic Seed Plant: Driving directions: Travel 2 miles west of Avonlea on highway #339, turn south and come to the plant entrance.
