Overview
Grade School is a free event that gives producers an opportunity to watch in-person grading demonstrations for pulses, barley, wheat, flax, and canola.
Grain inspectors from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) will be in attendance to discuss common grading factors for each crop, while looking forward to answering producer questions. They will explain the benefits of utilizing programs such as the Harvest Sample Program and Final Quality Determination, provide knowledge of how to better negotiate at the local elevator and how to collect a representative sample, and more.
This event is co-hosted in collaboration with SaskBarley, SaskOilseeds, and SaskWheat.
