First established in 2017, the Pulse Replicated On-Farm Independent Trials (PROFIT) program aims to deliver timely, accurate, and regionally specific information to pulse growers in Saskatchewan about integrated pest management, plant health, agronomy, and overall best practices for their farms.

PROFIT research is conducted and validated at the field-scale level on real farms across Saskatchewan under the expertise of agronomists and growers. Trial results are made available here on SPG’s website and to all participating growers.

Growers and SPG’s pulse agronomy network, comprised of leading experts in pulse production, agronomy, and research, determine specific research topics annually.

Growers are encouraged to get involved with the PROFIT program, whether by conducting research on their farm through the program or submitting topics of interest for future research. Learn more about how to participate below.
