Overview
The International North American Pulse Improvement Association (NAPIA)/Bean Improvement Cooperative (BIC) Biennial Meeting allows members and colleagues worldwide and from varied disciplines to interact and exchange information on bean and pulse improvement.
The meeting aims to:
- To provide a forum on recent research developments and plans for projects in pulse crops
- Collaborate with scientific and industry leaders from all over the world
- Opportunities for graduate student research
- Help create solutions through innovative and collaborative science
- Connect worldwide”
The meeting is of interest to growers and agronomists, as well as researchers. In 2023, we had a producer as a keynote speaker, and hope to do the same this year.

The Workshop Root Rot in Pulse Crops: New Research, Real Solutions, and Collaborative Strategies will be held on November 6, 2025, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Registration for the root rot workshop is capped at 50 people, so register early! There is currently still space.
