Lentil Response to Varying Phosphorus Forms and Placement Options

This project will evaluate how lentil crops respond to different phosphorus (P) fertilizer formulations and placement strategies across the major lentil growing regions of Saskatchewan. By generating data on the safety and effectiveness of both conventional and novel P fertilizers, it provides producers with practical, regionally relevant information to optimize P fertilization in lentil production, maintain long-term soil fertility, and improve economic returns.
