Overview
Join Saskatchewan Pulse Growers and MaxAg for a tour of the SPG Pulse Variety Showcase and Pulse Replicated On-Farm Independent Trials (PROFIT) lentil seeding rate study near Rosetown. The Variety Showcase features the small red lentil varieties CDC Maxim, CDC Simmie, CDC Nimble, CDC Impulse, CDC Redmoon, and CDC Proclaim. The PROFIT seeding rate trial has four different seeding rates with 12, 18, and 24 plants/ft2 and a variable rate seeding treatment ranging from 12-18 plants/ft2.
