September 11, 2026 (Saskatoon, Sask.) – Three nominees have been acclaimed to the Saskatchewan Pulse Growers (SPG) Board of Directors following the close of nominations today. Rob Rigetti of Moose Jaw will join the Board of Directors in January. BJ Haubrich of Hazenmore and Winston van Staveren of Creelman will continue into their next three-year terms.
Stuart Lawrence, SPG Board Chair, says, “We are excited to welcome our new Director, Rob, to the Board, where he will help shape SPG’s strategic direction. We are also pleased to have BJ and Winston returning for another term. Each of these individuals brings valuable experience and knowledge to our Board.”
SPG had called for nominations for three positions on the Board of Directors and received three nominations. As such, the candidates will be acclaimed.
Terry Youzwa will depart the Board in January, having served two consecutive three-year terms and did not seek re-election.
“I would like to thank Terry for his time and valuable contributions to the SPG Board of Directors over the past six years, as well as his time spent as Chair of Pulse Canada and other committees during his tenure,” says Lawrence.
The Directors’ terms will begin following SPG’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 12, 2027, at the Western Development Museum in Saskatoon. More information about the SPG AGM is available at saskpulse.com.
