Develop a novel tribo-electrostatic separation (T-ES) technique for dry separation of protein and starch from pulses/cereals

To enhance the charging efficiency of the protein-starch flours by evaluating the charging behavior using lab scale TES system; to optimize the process parameters and investigate different factors of a lab-scale TES setup for yield, and separation efficiency; to scale-up the TES technique to a pilot-scale capability and collaborate with processing companies and equipment manufacturers.
