To develop multi-parent populations that introgress and pyramid Aphanomyces resistance alleles from potential resistant sources into commercial lentil germplasm; To use these populations to further elucidate the genetic architecture and enable genomics-assisted breeding of Aphanomyces resistance; and rapidly develop and deploy elite, Aphanomyces-resistant lentil varieties for commercialization to growers.
