Description

CDC 219-16 is a white flowered, zero tannin fababean with improved yield vs. CDC Snowdrop and Snowbird. This variety yielded 102% of Snowbird and 113% of CDC Snowdrop in 9 years of testing in the Fababean Regional Variety Trials (Table 1). CDC 219-16 matures 2 days later than Snowbird or CDC Snowdrop and is slightly shorter in height. Lodging is slightly more than for Snowbird. The seeds are slightly larger than CDC Snowdrop but are about 25% smaller than Snowbird.

  • Matures two days later than Snowbird
