To develop and establish reliable, standardized, and scalable protocols for Aphanomyces inoculum production under laboratory conditions, and disease root ratings under greenhouse conditions; to develop and implement an automated disease rating system to increase the accuracy, automation, and scale of phenotyping across multiple lines.
